Who: Millennials born in the years 1981-1996 (travel partners that are not Millennials will still be accepted) If you are a solo traveler and want to room with another solo traveler, there is a section on the Google Form to fill out to try to match people up if there are solo travelers to match up.
What: Group of Millennials who want to take advantage of a special group rate, travel with other Millennials, make travel friends and have a great time in the sun! You can keep this as chill as you want or you can explore every day – it’s still very customizable!

This trip is all about balancing vibrant social connection with serene relaxation. We’ll explore the energetic buzz of Playa del Carmen’s famous 5th Avenue and unwind at the resort’s fantastic on-site spa. This trip can be a group trip where we do everything together or it can be as introverted as you want it. No matter what you choose, you are invited to all the activities like a beach volleyball game, dinner reservations, saved spots at a certain pool, on an excursion or even flying together. If you just want to take advantage of the special group rate and are a Millennial you can also do that! Some people want to stay on property sunbathing on the beach and get their money’s worth at the all inclusive while other people want to venture out to explore. This is where the personalization comes in.
Once you secure your spot on the Google Form, a small deposit will be due – that confirms your reservation and you can choose to start a payment plan from here until your final payment is due.
As a full service travel agent, I can book all aspects of your trip! If you need flights, travel insurance, excursions, transfers (mine prices the best and is a vetted source), or other travel needs, I can book that for you! Once items are booked, I add them to your personalized travel itinerary. To access this itinerary, you will download a free app where you add your custom link to your free account. You can also access this information offline. The picture below is an example of what it looks like.
If we fill 10 or more rooms there will be a cocktail hour on the first night to help everyone get to know each other. Each day there will be a suggestion on restaurants to eat together, activity suggestions the main group will be participating in and more. We will stay in touch with a group chat on Whatsapp – a free texting app that allows Android and Apple phones to communicate free of international charges, share photos and videos that come in clear.
This is a great opportunity to meet other Millennials and possible future travel buddies along with escaping the winter blues! Travel Insurance:
Ranges from $50 to $300 depending on your level of coverage. Age, home state, cost of trip and other factors go into the cost of travel insurance. I highly recommend at least the basic level of travel insurance as the main thing you need it for is medical coverage.
Excursion:

Currency:
It is more respectful and more accepting to bring Mexican Pesos instead of US dollars especially when not at the resort. The resort usually does accept US dollars but it is not as easy for the locals to transfer the US dollars into Mexican Pesos. I advise to exchange currency at a local bank before you travel.

Once we have our group, I will send out a survey to see what people are interested in for excursions. If only one person wants to do an excursion, we can still book that excursion. The more people that sign up, usually, the less expensive it is. The one excursion that is for sure going, is the trip to Playa del Carmen to experience 5th Avenue. It is not required to attend any of the excursions. Excursions are at an additional cost.
